Feeling betrayed?

Having trouble with your friends and family?

Does it seem that no one understands?

I do. I really do.

My financial advisor sold me to my enemies — cheaply, too.

But My blood bought your freedom from your enemy — Satan.

My closest friends slept while I wept.

Which is why I’ll never leave you or forsake you.

I was loathed and distraught

— but I didn’t complain because I wanted to win your love.

 

My soul was overwhelmed to the point of death

So you’ll never be tempted by more than you can handle.

 

I asked my Father if there was another way —

rather than by Me dying by crucifixion — to pay off your debts.

There wasn’t. So I did.

 

Was all My pain worth it?

 

That all depends upon you.

 

Need a friend that sticks closer than a brother?
