Rich has been a public school mathematics teacher for thirty-four years. An unfortunate fall while installing Christmas lights in 1987 caused a spinal cord injury and permanent paralysis. Rebekah Montgomery worked on the staff of several evangelical churches until a group of family tragedies forced curtailment of her activities. (1972–1984). She became editor of six publications (1986-1992), managing a staff of assistants, photographers, and designers. She has published seven books and over a thousand articles. Rebekah attended Christian Training Center, Fort Wayne Bible College, Institute of Fine Arts, IU-Purdue, and American Institute of Holy Land Studies, Jerusalem, and post-graduate classes in Israel.
